Check that your device’s sound is on and that the game sounds have not been muted. If this doesn’t work, restart your device and try again.
Also, make sure you have the latest version of World School installed on your device. To check, simply go to the App Store on your mobile phone or tablet and click Updates at the bottom of the screen. If you see an update for World School just click the “Update” button to the right.
You should also make sure you are using the latest version of Apple’s iOS. To check, click on Settings and then go to General. Now click on Software Update at the top of the screen. Your device will now check for any new updates and ask you to install if it finds any.
On some iPhones and iPads, the side switch can be set to either mute sounds or lock rotation. It is possible that the sounds are muted with the mute switch, but the button itself is set to lock rotation. To restore sounds in this case, you will have to go to Settings, click General and under "Use side switch to:" select "Mute".
Now just mute the sounds with the side switch, launch World School and unmute sounds.
This should bring back sounds and you can then change the side switch back to rotation lock if you wish.
Another option is to mute the device sounds with the side switch, shut down the device completely, turn it back on and then unmute.
